Savoyard fondue has its champion
Congratulations to Sylvain Bel, who goes down in history by becoming the 1st French Fondue Savoyardes champion.
We will see him again on November 15, 2025 in Tartegnin for the selection for the Fondue World Championship.

French Savoyard Fondue Championship
On February 15, 2025, the commune of Perrignier invites you to an event never before seen in Haute-Savoie: the very first French Savoyard fondue championship. One thing's for sure: cheese lovers are in for a treat !
1ᵉʳ French championship of the Savoyard fondue
In Haute-Savoie, Savoyard fondue is much more than just a dish: it's a tradition, a know-how handed down from generation to generation. Everyone has their own recipe, their own little secret that makes all the difference, but the basis is generally the same for everyone: a perfect balance of cheeses, a carefully chosen wine and just the right amount of garlic to spice up the taste... This traditional mountain dish invites creativity and sharing, giving everyone the opportunity to discover their own unique and deliciously comforting version.
A message that is identical to the message of the Fondue World Cup.
Friends of Savoyard fondue, join in and take part in this funny competition ! The winner will receive his ticket for the selection of the 5th edition of the World Fondue Championship on November 15, 2025 in Tartegnin (Swiss regulation) as well as an entrance kit for 2 people.
